anyone watching the exhibition games? i caught the first quarter of last night's game against puerto rico. it was pretty close, but i'm glad to see our boys ended up blowing them out.
also, i've never seen the dodgers get so much good press about their midseason trades. glad to see that everything seems to be working out with their young stars continnuing to contribute, as well as their new players.

i saw team USA in action... D wade and chris paul were the standouts in my book. those two are the real deal. milwaukee, atlanta, and utah blew it by pasing up paul in the draft. but that's why they're so shitty.
maddux baby. as a pseudo-chicagoan i believe this makes up for the cubs trading him before he became a legend in his own right. wait, they did it again. so here's to a couple of more gems in the twilight of his career!
the real move that helped the dodgers was getting betemit, that guy's legit.
having seen tonight's usa/slovenia game (in which they fell assleep in the 4th q after leading by nearly 30) i believe they've got a really good, defense intense obviously athletic basketball playing team. inasmuch i will conjecture to say that kobe bryant should stay far away from this team meaning i don't think they need him in the mix. though he is a great great player, he is getting on. most of the team is 25-under and kobe, though he has another couple of championship years left should let the youngins play w/o number 24.
